The inception of Asiatic Archery Australia was driven by the absence of dedicated Australian retailers focusing on Asiatic Archery and Horse Bows.
Our deep-rooted passion for History and Traditional Archery is part of what makes us the #1 choice for Asiatic Archery & Bows.
My own journey in archery began at the age of 12, shooting recurves at my hometown’s local indoor range.
Many weekends were spent honing my skills there, eventually leading me to shoot in my backyard.
In my 20’s I explored the world of Compound Bows. However, it didn’t take long to realise that the reliance on gadgets and sights began to chip away at the joy I found in archery. It was at this point I decided to take a break, and put my love for archery on the back-burner.
After many years and a few visits to our local Archery Park, my passion was re-ignited, and I decided to start shooting again.
My love for archery and history led me to start a collection of traditional Asiatic bows, with my first two being Mongolian and Turkish bows. I now have a whole wall of of Asiatic bows in my house, and plan on mounting many more in the future!
I’m a proud member of TAA, and will be attending Balingup Medieval Carnivale & York Medieval Fayre with Asiatic Bows Australia again in 2025 & beyond.
