Tozkoparan Kids Bow by OKÇUBABA | Children’s Traditional Bow

The Tozkoparan is a kids traditional bow built to the proportions of a small archer rather than a cut down adult bow. It takes its name from Tozkoparan İskender, the Ottoman flight archer whose distance marks stood for hundreds of years, which gives a child something rather better than a cartoon to be told about on the range.

At 84cm and 180g it is light enough for a child to hold at draw without shaking, and the 55cm, or 21 inch draw length matches a junior’s reach. It is moulded from polycarbonate using a polymer resin process and strung with a polyester string of 81cm, with an 18.5cm brace height.

OKÇUBABA are specific about the materials, which matters when the bow is going to a child. It contains no heavy metals, mercury or harmful chemicals. The colour is moulded into the polycarbonate rather than painted on, so nothing can flake off or transfer onto hands, and no volatile substances are used in production, so it is safe to store indoors. Choose blue or orange. Please note the pack contains the bow and string only: the arrows shown in the photographs are not included, so add a set of junior arrows and a target to complete the kit.
