The Traditional Hunnic Horse Bow by Istvan Toth is crafted from solid fiberglass with ash siyahs adorned with wood & horn overlays. This Hun Bow is then finished with premium leather covering and stitching. Needless to say, this bow is built to last, and we’re certain it will. But it’s not just a durable construction that makes the Hun Horse Bow stand out from the crowd.
This bow is designed to emulate the archery traditions of the Huns, a nomadic horse culture that dominated Central Asia and Europe during the 4th and 5th centuries AD. Hun children were taught to ride and shoot from a young age, and by adulthood, their equestrian and archery skills were unrivalled.
In tribute to this rich legacy, the Istvan Toth Hun Horse Bow features a longer draw length of 30-32 inches and is weighted at 28 pounds, making it an ideal choice for larger archers. And with stiff ash wood tips and strike plates, this bow is beautifully decorated and visually stunning.
One of the most unique features of the Hun Horse Bow is its versatility. Unlike other bows that are restricted to a specific arrow rest, this bow allows you to shoot right or left-handed, and with either thumb or Mediterranean draw, giving you the freedom to explore different archery styles and techniques.
